The Madison Area Transportation Options Map interactive website includes two maps: City Map and Regional Map.
Choose the map you would like by clicking on the tabs at the top of the page.

To display information on the map:
On the right-hand side of the page, under "Create Your Map," check the box(es) for the information you would like to display. Then click "Redraw Map." The map will reload with the information you have chosen.

To view detailed legends:
On the City map, click on the "Legend" buttons to view the legend for each category of information.

To navigate around the map:
Navigation tools are located in the toolbar above the map. Zoom in by selecting the +magnifying glass and draw a box around the area of the map you would like to zoom. Zoom out by selecting the -magnifying glass and clicking on the map. Pan the map by selecting the hand tool and "pulling" the map in the direction you desire, or by clicking on the arrows around the outside of the map frame. Zoom to the full map extent by clicking on the globe tool . Go back to the previous map extent by clicking on the back arrow .

To locate a specific item on the map:
On the left-hand side of the page, under "Find," select a category from the top drop-down menu and then select a specific item from the bottom drop-down menu. The map will automatically zoom to the feature you have selected.

To find out information about a feature on the map:
Select the information tool from the toolbar above the map, and click on the map feature about which you would like information. A window will pop up with information about the identified feature(s).
